The James Andrews School of Golf

Anyone for Golf?

Part 4

Eleven per cent of golfers in Britain are now women, an increase James Andrews believes could be due to there now being more high profile women players like 16 year-old Hawaiian Michelle Wie. He’s also found more business conferences are taking place on golf courses.

“Its just a more pleasant way of doing business than in the board room and it’s a good way of networking,” he says. “For a lot of people, once they take up golf it becomes a way of life. Our working lives are becoming very hectic. On the golf course you can switch off from all that and relax. Get some ‘me’ time”.

So as the barman told us, it really is about you!
